_JDP0755_1.jpgShakira Batamahnathan came to New Zealand from Malaysia in 2005 in order to pursue her passion for working with animals. She completed her Diploma in Veterinary Nursing at Massey University in 2007. She has a little Chihuahua, Finn, back in Malaysia whom she misses dearly. She loves listening to music and watching movies in both English and foreign languages. She also enjoys travelling and can’t wait to further discover New Zealand!

 

 

 

 

 

 

_JDP0791_1.jpgHeather Gudsell has been nursing for over three years and has recently moved from Tauranga to Abbotts Way to extend her skills.  She has a Certificate in Veterinary Nursing from Otago Polytechnic and a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing.  . As a nurse her main priority  is to provide the best care to all creatures great and small.  Heather also runs the clinics puppy preschool. Her other great passion is the theatre both watching and performing and looks foward to enjoying the Auckland theatre scene.

 

 

 

 

 

 

_JDP8569_1.jpgLaura Zhang has recently completed her Diploma of Veterinary Nursing at Massey University. She moved to New Zealand from Singapore in 2001 and now considers New Zealand home. She has two cats, Tommy Boy and Tabitha as well as a fluffy white bunny called Lambchops. In her spare time she enjoys her ballet classes which she took up a year ago and spending time with her family


 

 

 

 

 

 

 Amanda2_1.jpgAmanda Hawkes graduated with a diplomaof veterinary nursing from the SIT (Invercargill) in 2006.She loved her time in the deep south but decided recently to return to her home town, Auckland to further her career in animals. She loves being a vet nurse and finds it very rewarding. When she's not busy tending to the sick at Abbotts Way she enjoys walking her dogs Axle and Banffi, horse riding, volley ball, snow boarding and spending time with her friends and family

 

 

 

 

 

 

tasha_1.jpgReceptionist, Natasha Stephen has recently returned home after spending seven years working and travelling overseas.  She lives in Pakuranga with her one year old son, Aiden who keeps her busy with all of his toddler activities. She loves being back in New Zealand, enjoying the great outdoors and when she gets the chance enjoys walking, snowboarding, reading and dancing.
