Tahlia, the most recent addition to the Abbotts Way family, qualified with a Certificate in Veterinary Nursing last year. She loves all aspects of nursing and when she’s she’s not tending to her four-legged patients, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, watching movies and playing with her big fluffy dog named Flea.
Renee holds a Certificate in Animal Management and a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing and joined us in 2015. She enjoys travelling, learning new cultures, cooking and spending time with her family. She is the proud mum of Slim Shady the bunny and also the adoptive parent to her neighbours cats and dogs. She loves all aspects of veterinary nursing, especially nursing critical and long term hospitalised patients back to health.
Tina holds a Certficate in Veterinary nursing and has been veterinary nursing in both mixed and companion animal practices since 2006. She has spent a lifetime living and working with animals. Prior to nursing Tina was dairy farming and also spent time working with horses.
Tina enjoys the challenge and variety that comes with veterinary nursing, especially intensive care and orthopaedic patients.
In her spare time she loves spending time with her partner, young son and two energetic Boxers Dusty and Pebbles. She also enjoys painting,movies, horse riding and taking photos.
Rebekah, a recent addition to the Abbott’s Way family, graduated from Massey University last year with a degree in Veterinary technology. Rebekah has always had a love for animals.
She loves the challenge and the rewarding experiences that come with working with animals and their owners.
Previously living in lower half of the North Island Rebekah is happy being back in Auckland close to family, her partner and friends. In her spare time she enjoys baking, reading, spending quality time with friends and family and walks along the beach.
Rachel completed a Bachelor of Veterinary Technology at Massey University in Palmerston North and has been at Abbots Way Vets since May 2019. Rachel loves meeting all pets and helping with their treatment. While studying, she developed a strong interest in radiology and loves to join in with ultrasound procedures. She grew up with multiple pets and currently lives with her family and two pets, Honey the loving lackadaisical labradoodle and Tami the cosmic calico cat. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys developing her skills in animal photography, writing, crafts and hanging out with friends.
Michele has a wealth of animal experience which includes caring for cats, dogs and
horses through to Arctic foxes, sloths and elephants!
Originally from the UK, Michele has now worked in four small animal vet practices
and loves interacting with both the pets and their owners.
When not bring bossed around by her rescue cat, Benson, Michele’s passion is
travelling, which invariably includes volunteering for various wildlife and conservation projects.
