Vet Technician
Rachel graduated from Massey University in 2017 with a Bachelor in Veterinary Technology and was welcomed into the Abbotts Way family in May 2019. Vet Technicians are a rare find and it’s a bit like finding a petrol station that’s less than $3 a litre.
Rachel has a special interest in Ultrasonography & Radiology. She’s our in-clinic IT guru and is very knowledgeable when it comes to all aspects of nursing. Rachel is one of our Senior Nurses and spends some of her time in clinic mentoring our junior nurses.
When she’s not spending her time working hard at the clinic you can find her making the most of her creative skill in writing, poems, paint by numbers and creating art with vial caps. (The plastic cap that flicks off a vaccine vial).
