Veterinary Consultations

Our weekday clinic consultations start at 7.50am and are scheduled in 20 minutes blocks across the day. Our last consultation of the day finishes at 5.50pm. On Saturdays we open at 8.30am with the first consultation at 8.50am, and we close at 1pm.

Elective surgical procedures such as dental procedures and desexing are performed on weekdays.

Due to the unpredictable nature of healthcare sometimes consultations will run over and we apologise in advance if you experience delays. We try to avoid this but will always prioritise offering the best pet care over rushing an appointment. This is also why we offer standard consultations in 20 minute blocks that is often considered ‘extended consultations’. We believe taking a little longer to examine and discuss your pets health offers the best outcomes!

If you have an urgent enquiry please phone for the fastest response, and if non-urgent feel free to email us if preferred: reception@abbottswayvet.co.nz
