It is best to make an appointment to ensure the vet can see you as they get quite busy most days. We do treat emergencies without an appointment but in non-urgent cases are best organised via our online booking platform or by phoning or emailing our reception.

If you have an out of hours emergency for dogs, cats or other small animals there is after hours service at Mount Wellington. They are available 24/7 on (09) 320 5645 and they are located at 1 Te Apunga Place, Mount Wellington.

The cost of your pet’s treatment depends greatly on the treatment required and no two animals are the same. We always try to explain costs before any treatment, though in an emergency scenario we may have to act quickly. Common procedures like vaccinations, worm and flea treatments have fixed costs while injured or sick animals can be simple or complex and costs depend on the care that they will require. One thing we can assure you is we are a clinic known to charge reasonable prices for our services and our team are Vets because we love animals.

Yes, we are a equipped to carry out routine and advanced surgical procedures with a dedicated surgical suite with full faculties. In addition to the routine surgeries we perform a wide range of orthopedic surgery including complicated fracture repair, triple pelvic osteotomy, cruciate surgery, OCD shoulder surgery, elbow dysplasia surgery, and luxating patella surgery.

We also have a fully equipped in house laboratory, X-ray and Ultrasound so we can cater for all your pets needs should they need scans

This will depend on which product you prefer for your pets. It is common to worm your pet every 3 months, however some products require less frequent treatment. It is also important to provide regular treatment for fleas and ticks. With the increasing risks of disease as a result from tick bites so we recommend regular treatment as ticks can be picked up when you pet is playing outside, these treatments tend to be either monthly or 3 monthly.
